X-men vs Mystery Men
01/08/2000 Source: Jessica Martin

The Galactic Senate: polls & voting for August 2000.

Nothing gladdens our heart more than to see democracy in action in the science fiction and fantasy world. If you feel the same, dear user, then here's our current and past online polls, as voted for by many a fine fellow (you too can vote, but choose wisely)...

X-men vs Mystery Men
It's the ultimate death match - the mutant super-heroes of the X-men take on the super-zeroes which are the Mystery Men. Who will take the prize of best super-hero team? Will the X-types kick some cape, or is it those underpowered underdogs, the Mystery Men who will win? Vote now ...

X-men. Come on. Is this a death match or a suicide run? Professor X could send the rest of the team to the disco for some mutant-style R&R, and just think the pack of losers who are the Mystery Men into a coma. !
Mystery Men. The X-men are simply too used to fighting real super baddies like Magneto. Faced with the bottom farting venom of the Spleen, or Invisible Boy's incredible ability to vanish when no-one is looking (including himself), the X-men are sure to be so shocked, they will easily fall pray to the deadly back-arm of the Shoveler.
