The TV series 'Supernatural' is going from strength to strength even if it had a somewhat eratic television schedule in the UK. This book provides an episode guide for its second season together with some articles about some of the creatures they have investigated. For those musically inclined and want to track down all the hard rock played in the series, there is also a handy guide to that as well.

The entire book has comments from cast and crew and loaded with pictures. The sixteen page colour supplement is somewhat loaded towards showing the Winchester boys as played by actors Jenson Ackles and Jared Padalecki although some pages have been devoted to set design. When I first read it, I felt there were still too many black and white photos orientated on them and occasionally wished there were more of the guest cast. A re-flick as I was writing this review shows there are some but probably not clicked to where I was reading the text.

Each episode gets four pages devoted to it except for the finale two-parter episodes which gets an in-depth of fourteen pages. There are also several pages devoted to cast and production team giving everything pertinent that you would need to know.

Titan Books release not only these books but also the magazine about the series so all bases are nicely covered. If you need to gen up on your favourite series then these books should be on your shelf as a matter of course. As a historical reference for later one, the same applies as well as the episode information is complete if brief. These books sell extremely fast and if you want to get a first edition then I suggest you order up now as its due out the third week of April. So get your Impala in gear and be ready to get this book to join your first season book.
